We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Apprenticeship / Junior IT Project Manager to assist our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in managing a range of critical IT projects. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our project management team, with responsibilities including:Haut du formulaire
- Collaborating directly with the CTO on project management tasks, ensuring efficient execution of IT initiatives.
- Crafting precise specification documents to define project scopes and requirements.
- Leading and facilitating workshops for project alignment and stakeholder input.
- Identifying and selecting suitable vendors for project-related activities.
- Monitoring project timelines and milestones, addressing any challenges to maintain project schedule.
- Providing regular updates and reports on project statuses to key stakeholders.
- Effectively coordinating between internal teams and external project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree in IT, business management, or a related field and seeking an apprenticeship or junior position.
- Have a foundational understanding of IT project management principles and methodologies.
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Show a keen interest in technology and project management, with a desire to learn and grow in these areas.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Be fluent in English and capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Previous experience in a project coordination or management role, even in a university or volunteer capacity.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
